I just watched an old L&O last night with Noth partnering with Jerry Orbach and Juliana Margulies played a naval lieutenant that was an integral part of the case of the week.  That was a little weird. 

It seems to me that in the pilot his partner was transferred in Wife World and replaced with Fez because they wanted someone to keep an eye on him.  As I recall, it was a tiny flash of a scene.

I know - I really like it, which, judging by past history, is practically a guarantee that it will be cancelled.  And I think Jason Isaacs is plenty sexy - who needs young?

I keep thinking Mike looks like one of those composite drawings they do on police procedurals - sort of like someone, but not really.

I stumbled on a really old episode of Law & Order (so old that Jerry Orbach had a guest spot as a defense lawyer) and seeing Chris Noth in his youth makes me understand completely how Alicia fell for Peter in the first place.  That was one good-looking guy!  Although it's a little disconcerting how much he resembles…

The Gerety accent struck me as funny, since there are 2 Irish guys playing New York accents (although Quinn is really bi-accented) and here's a Boston guy doing an Irish accent.  Maybe he's getting coached.

CBS streams it on the internet starting the next day.  You have to sit through some ads, but it's not too bad.
