It's the potential for a stunning upset, where the smaller, weaker one somehow defeats the bigger, stronger one
Sounds like they can't take a joke
Nice - the great Michael Rispoli
forgive me if fido see this movie
It doesn't really *pop*
I thought "I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore" was at Sundance this year, but I didn't see anything about it here on the Onion. Maybe they did a review and I just missed it?
Never heard of her
Oh no, I didn't miss that part, I just thought the whole "oh, and as it turns out, the drummer dabbles in MMA" was a bit of a reach, like a little convenient or something.
"Constantine" was great
Oh, and that's the other thing - I did a control-F and the word "cow" didn't appear. How can a review of a movie not mention the other band at the skinhead club? Or did I misunderstand that (how the other band factored into the plot) completely?
Thanks, yeah I missed that whole thing. I was really trying to keep up with Patrick Stewart's plan but I never quite could figure out who he was talking to on the phone or what it was about.
Was "Martyrs" torture porn or about torture porn?
Oh, wait, "The Witch" was 2016, and "Hell of High Water". If those and "Green Room" were the 8th, 9th and 10th best movies of 2016, then 2016 would have been a great movie year.
"The Exorcist" TV show was really good. I can''t think of any 2016 movies that really knocked me out, though. I thought "Green Room" was pretty interesting, semi-special, but not enough to start up a "2016 was a good year for movies" notion.
Oh, and the drummer dabbles in MMA on the side? Errr… ok, I guess so, etc
Plus the whole Austin Powers thing where they leave and figure it's a done deal on the last two prisoners, etc. I didn't really get any of that - instead of just blasting the kids they send two doofuses in there and the one is the same one that's in the love triangle with the dead girl. Was that on purpose? I couldn't…
What did it mean? Not being facetious here, I liked it but I can't remember that. I couldn't figure out who Patrick Stewart was talking to on the phone half the time. But that's my bad, not the movie's.
Stick around, Bennett!!
All this, and now I'm suddenly craving a delicious burger from McDowell's
