But Damon used her to get to Elena and Stefan. Not because he lacked impulse control. I can see you using this argument on what he has done in destructive tangents (like snapping Jeremy's neck) but not on what he did to Caroline.

I am so happy Carrie is covering this show! She is right that this is not the best the show has to offer but I was pleasantly surprised by them making the nurse's story legit. I thought it would just be a way to get rid of Angelo quickly and I am happy they seem to be not taking that route. As always the Emmet/Bay

I agree that this show deserves more than a recap mentality.  The first episode alone deals with sex, suicide, teenage pregnancy, and bullying.  It's a very funny show but it has more levels than that, which is why I am still watching.
