I will go to my grave defending Pirates of the Caribbean 3. One of the most underrated movies of the past 20 years. It's so gloriously huge. I could watch it over and over (and I have).

My choice for this year would have been Braveheart. An incrediblely good movie from top to bottom and one of my all-time favorites.

YES!! Had to scroll down to make sure The Rock was next. Now to read the article.

Worry not. Once you start American Gods you'll not be able to stop reading till the end. Shouldn't take more than a day or two to finish it.

Ah! Damn, I am ashamed I didn't pick up on it.

I mean, how will that scene translate from page to screen, not just "how will they create the trees?"

I'm beyond hyped for this one. I can't wait to see how they do the tree scene near the end of the book (you know the one I mean).

Fuck you and your snarky bullshit attitude.

I just got linked to this review from another article, and boy is this a disgrace. I think time has vindicated Atlantis as an underrrated gem of Disney animation.

This is pathetic.

I picked this up a few days ago. I'm loving it so far, but good god damn they need to tweak the gear system.

Easily one of my least-favorite movies of all time. It's so bad it almost makes me hate Stone's other, actually good films.

Right on my friend. I'd go Braveheart myself but either of those are better choices too.

I definitely think Braveheart counts. "Just a war drama?" That would be like arguing that Platoon isn't an action movie also. But even if we put that one aside, how about these other 1995 movies?

Shouldn't 1995's choice be Braveheart?

NOOOOOOOOO!!! But seriously, what other action movies in 96 were better?

I'm willing to accept Michael Bay next week as long as the 1996 choice is The Rock. The one unimpeachable movie Michael Bay ever made and one of my all time action movie favorites.

I love this idea! Here are a few ideas I had while reading this inspired premise:

How is it possible that anyone still listens to or gives a rat's ass about Dunham?

I mean, the guy is a 9/11 truther, so you always knew critical thinking wasn't his strong suit.
