I'm conflicted.

I'll start watching this show when it finally lives up to its potential and starts delivering grade F material.

I'd rather have "Shoshanna & Ray" with a recurring Adam Driver, but either way, I suppose. They are Girls' 3 best creations.

This was just bad. Jeez… between this and Community, this was probably the worst Thursday for comedy since that one week in June last year when nothing was on TV.

The first episode of Nathan For You is available to watch on CC's website. My first impression of it was that I miss Jon Benjamin Has a Van. Then I decided it was funny enough to outweigh the sadness. The review is pretty spot-on: the conceit works in this episode, but just barely (the funniest segment is the job

I'm confused; I always thought The Californians was just the SNL cast & writers trolling us. There are people who actually like it?

I loved Tippy so much. And I say this as someone who found all of Kristen Wiig's recurring characters insufferable. Funniest live sketch of the season. Though "What Have You Become?" gets major points for such a hilariously dark concept (and being the lead-off sketch.)

I completely agree. I thought that "Love" actually did a pretty good job of making Billy's Skype girlfriend into a real person (as well as seemingly being a turning point for Jim re: women), but these last two episodes saw the show (and Jim) revert back to its dumb, dismissive attitude towards women. Very

Yep, both are by David Simon.

I realize this was one of the weakest offerings so far (though still better than the Vagina Exhibit episode), yet I can't help but still be charmed by this show. The Pretty In Pink comparison is spot-on; part of the reason why I like the show is it seems like it's trying to emulate John Hughes much more than it's

Agreed on this being the weakest episode so far this year. It felt as sloppy and unrefined as a season 1 episode. Usually this show's dialogue can carry a lesser hour, but it felt like they shot the first draft, before the placeholders in the script had been replaced with better, wittier lines. Add in some ugly

The ghost wife reminded me of the smoke monster from Lost.

Your comment articulates my feelings on the current state of TVD better than I could have myself.

I'm confused about something. So the tribal-looking dude is a witch in cahoots with Shane? Then who was the tribal-looking dude chasing Shane in the opening scene/flashback?

O'Neal needs to up his game. Weakest Newswire effort in quite a long time.

My favorite part was the Ed O'Neill-impression voiceover near the end of the Modern Wedding episode. Was that Dillahunt?

This is the best show currently airing on TV. That is all.

I LOVED the Hannah half of this episode. I felt like I knew who Laird was after just one episode. That's some good writing and acting. And Elijah had me rolling. "Is this a bank?" A-

Prop Joe on the phone is the funniest scene in the entire series. RIP.

I actually thought season 6 was about as bad as 4/5 (too much Kenneth and waaaaay too much Hazel), but the second live episode single-handedly bumps it above.
