I feel that the way to assess this type of doc is to try to understand what they aim at accomplishing. Clearly, B wants to promote her coming world tour, so that worked.

Well, technically Don is a happily married man. Funny how nobody really believes it.

Don would roll his eyes and get back to not working.

No. Why should she?

Etta James, "Trust In Me"

Sally
Great to finally see her talking to Dr. Edna, and understand why she sees Betty as a hideous mother: Betty actually does ask her to brush her teeth. The heinous bitch.

She was baking for Gene's birthday, a couple of episodes ago. And doing the dishes when speaking to Francine.

yes.

Betty sewing
Keith, we often see Betty doing domestic chores - doing the dishes, baking, cooking, setting the table. Apparently viewers don't notice, and keep scolding her for being idle, which is incomprehensible.

Pete is always right. This is something we should have learned by now.

Good point. Also, these "beatniky" characters don't seem to like Joan much. Actually, between her and Joey, there seems to be outright hostility.

I totally agree about January Jones. She does a tremendous job on this show. She plays a woman who has been constantly wronged and lied to, beginning with her mother, and ending with her unfaithful and bullying conman of a first husband. Yes, she ends up being very unhappy and bitter, and wrongly making her (and his)

Roger will go first. Bad heart, drinks like a fish…

My mother could have had Betty for breakfast.

Peggy and the motorcycle
Peggy doing circles in the studio on the red Honda, with her black and red dress, was a pure joy. Peggy this season is all kinds of awesome.

Arundel, I think that you are right. The have an expensive new set for the office, they probably could not afford a new set for the house this season.

Ktotwf, you are absolutely right. People were very invested in the cool and sexy Don. They try to find reasons why the episodes are "bad" , rather then just admit that they want the show to reflect their James-Bond Don fantasy. MW is very brave to have taken this route, and he will get some bad reviews for that.
