New Girl and Happy Endings, the minority characters are fully fleshed out and their race informs their weirdness, but does not define the character.  MAYBE it's b/c I'm one of those minorities, but it's genuinely nice to see that kind of representation on television

I hated tiny furniture, but Girls is good; Honestly, the Kareem article places it nicely; it's good, but it's not great; and sometimes, it would be nice if it was easier to like the characters.
