What I liked about the show was the feeling that no one was safe. You could have the most likable hero and/or heroine, but there was no guarantee they would survive the episode. The one that got to me the most was the episode involving an old magician and a levitating trick. The ending to that one still creeps me out.

Don't worry. I have that conversation with myself all the time.

Regardless of the specific details, my respect for Tarantino has only grown from this incident. Murphy clearly needs to have the shit slapped out of him on a regular basis. Alan Moore would be able to put this guy in the hospital.

**a spoiler lucks below, but please don't see the movie**

Fireproof 2: Disco Inferno

Bad movies can be a lot of fun, as long as you know what you're getting into. You can laugh at it (MST3K). When you go into a movie expecting it to be good, only to find out it's terrible, that's when the pain begins.

You know, Visible Man, it occurs to me that if you are correct, then God is a producer of terrible movies. Which would explain a lot about the world as a whole.

I question the factual accuracy of the title. Has anyone tested it by trying to set Kirk Cameron on fire?

Please reference my above comment.

Troll stupidity is what happens when you sit down and think: "Hey, how much of a dumbass can I be today?"

Taco,

Robert Denby, you made me laugh out loud during an otherwise terrible day. I salute you, sir.

Good call on the Tom Waits, although I might add "Jersey Girl" for those located in specific geographical regions.

Vim, the death of the Question was a sales stunt to allow them to replace him with a hot young babe. Hot young babe (troubled or not, lesbian or not) = sales.

Zack, I should clarify. When I state that only Alan Moore and a few others are able to successfully put their own stamp on these classic characters, I consider Neil Gaiman to be one of the few. If I see his name on something, I know it's worth reading.

For me, Batman continuity starts with "Year One" and ends with "DKR" (or "Kingdom Come," depending on how I'm feeling). Anything else, I pick by quality and how it fits with what I think about the character(s). Among my personal continuity: most Jim Aparo stories, "Arkam Asylum," "The Killing Joke," etc.

It makes me want to throw bigmeanbunny off a pool balcony.

Bad Day, maybe you need to get outside more.

No, he's doing a remake of "Honkey Grandma be Trippin'"
