I can't decide if I'm an agnostic or not.

Amen for Brisco County Jr. As for how well they hold up, some episodes are creakier than others plotwise, but the cast always delivers the fun. I can't watch it without wishing it had continued beyond the one season and plan to show it to my daughter when she gets older.

I'll tell you: we'll split up the week, okay? You take lymphoma, and tuberculosis…

The thought of buying *less* than 100 books is totally unrealistic.

I have nothing but respect for Mr. Selick, but what completely creeped me out about the book was imagining a normal-looking person with black buttons for eyes. It's going to be hard for this movie to beat that based on what I've seen.

Look, you can trash this crappy movie all you want, but don't start questioning Jennifer Connelly's mystique, regardless of what the picture looks like.

I, too, would like to know if any Harlan Ellison is in this wonderous box. If there is, it is probably yelling at the poorly written books for being idiotic.

To be fair, if I found myself in a movie directed by McG, I would be a boiling bundle of rage as well.

To sum up one fan's thoughts:

I also had a deep appreciation for Ms. Isis. Ah, memories.

I remember Electrowoman and Dyna-Girl mostly for them running around in tight clothing and little skirts. I was too young to know why I liked it, but I knew I liked it. Ditto for Batgirl and Catwoman.

ZMF,

The fact you don't know who he is and are willing to flaunt your ignorance merely demonstrates you would be more at home commenting at an American Idol fan site. Good luck with that.

Megatons, I'll agree that Tom Hanks is no Chow Yun-Fat, but I thought he did OK to varying degrees. And Grandstone, I wasn't thinking in terms of upper-crust British villain, I was thinking more in terms of a normally good-guy, affable actor playing a remorseless killer. It gives the performance a nice difference,

I vote for Kate Capshaw, who nearly ruins "Temple of Doom." You can't tell me Spielberg cast her for her talent.

I don't know. I wouldn't mind seeing Mr. Grant try his hand as a ruthless bad guy. It's sort of how I felt about Tom Hanks playing a hit man. The concept has potential.

I was more wrecked by Brandon Lee's death than Cobain. Murder theories aside, Cobain likely made his choice. Lee's death was just a stupid waste, senseless tragedy and whatever equally painful cliche you can think of.

And it was even righteous fun…

Lovecraft,

I think there's an echo in here.
