Preview sucks = Movie sucks

Forsooth.

In that care, I nominate Joel Schumacher, Ryan Reynolds and the guy who committed the film version of League of Extrordinary Gentlemen.

Amen, Brownribbon. Amen.

I'm not an Adam Sandler fan, and neither the preview nor this review has given me any reason to watch this movie under any circumstances.

Third or fourth on Doc Savage. Of course, nowadays you'd need to throw in Tom Strong and The Shadow.

Please tell me you are joking about the Scientology thing. Those people are worse than the Body Snatchers.

I think…

Killer cast
I'd be more interested in this story if it just starred Michelle Yeoh and Chow Yun-Fat. They could leave in Rahda Mitchell, but dump the white guy.

Fun summer movie

Wait for it Happy. Your turn will come.

I think I will rewatch my copy of Grosse Point Blank this weekend. Always a fine choice.

Yes, divorce is a horrible and painful process. And as horrible and painful as it was (she wanted it, I didn't) I realize now that it was for the best. I got a great son out of it — even if I do still have to deal with his sociopathic mother — and got remarried to a woman who's better in every way and I love more.

Yeah, but would anyone read it except for book reviewers?

For those of you who've never had one…
Divorce is like the most painful relationship breakup you have ever experienced, multiplied times 10. Then add paperwork, lawyers and all the money you get to pay for the privilege.

Fair enough on Serenity:TLB caplives. However, I have to disagree on Fray. I think that one stands far enough apart to be a fine read on its own. It explains enough (without going overboard) that a non-Buffy watcher can get into it.

Sorry Mando, I'll stick by that one.

Interesting excuse to read comics. But at least comics are better than drugs and you get to keep them. Below, a Short Recommended Reading list in no particular order off the top of my head, because I like to recommend things:

OK, I'm a long-time Raiders fan. Saw it about seven or eight times in the theatre. It's still in my top 5 of best films of all time.
