Dharma and Gregg and Chuck Lorre's inability to retool shows
Chuck Lorre's greatest weakness is that he can't take a show in a promising new direction or re-tool it. Dharma and Gregg is a case in point. The main characters were dull and really couldn't support an episode. But any episode based on the parents was

The alpha loser quality is only partially credited to the coens. JB's performance, conveys the frustration of the semi competent amongst the barely functional.

I think some of that might come from the fact that Walter keeps forcing The Dude to be the responsible voice of maturity.

Also had Jesse and Arnold in it. In a review of a DVD release, one of the AV club's reviewers described the movie as "featuring hot governor on governor action". Great line, can't remember who wrote it.
