Thanks for the kind words!

I don't think the majority of the male characters are defined by their feelings for the central pair. Certainly that's the focus, but they have other things going on. We know a lot about Mrs. Hudson beyond her status as landlady.

Right? He's the best actor on this show by a mile, even when they give him garbage. And this is a great cast.

Seconded.

Nope. I watched with two friends and we kept pausing to confirm that we were all equally bewildered. We also paused after that explosion so that the other two could get more drinks. Understandable, I think.

I get that, and I've done that too. But we're not obsessively vigilant observers facing down an enemy. You think he'd be on high alert.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for good acting, and "which one's pain?" bumped it up a letter grade all by itself.

Some of the comments depress me!

Thanks for the correction. In my defense, it was four in the damn morning when I finished this.

If I missed something, happy to be enlightened. I re-read most of Holmes recently but no one's perfect. What did I miss?

Ah, true! Would be better if it was Jonathan Groff though.

Right? I missed the lawyer stuff but didn't really realize it until it was back.

Shades of Arrested Development.

If that's a wrap on Scott, I agree, but that would be totally out of character for the show. I'm guessing this is part of Paula's arc for the rest of the season, if only because they didn't reference her emotional affair. I'm guessing more to come.

Correct. They really know how to do a throwaway line.

Ah, I don't totally agree. Season one ended with the letter and then that long, awful moment where she says she moved for him. I think it sets up both pretty nicely - it was his first moment of seeing Rebecca as a mall model, to use a recent parallel.

Hats off to you for wanting more things to read!

And tried to stab it with a pen.
