My go-to fictional bad guy is typically Satan, but she's not Satan, she's just Satan's incompetent CFO.

Father Brah is ALWAYS great, so it's not really stealing the scene. I'm gonna do a retroactive Hector Award next week, though.

He really is the gift that keeps on giving.

Watching him try to eat the soup around his sleeves was perfection.

Yyyyyyyep.

I really thought that's where it was headed when she was SO SURPRISED to be hungry.

AHHHH I forgot the Hector Award. I'll award two next week. It would either have been him or Maya.

He really does automatically elevate pretty much any episode he's in.

I actually really connected with Valencia in this episode. Reminds me of some bad breakups, when you convince yourself that things are going to be different and then immediately go back to old habits. But yeah, Lovell and Ruiz were both terrific this week.

God, I hope so. Hang ten, Hector! Hope his alarms work this time!

It's not careless. It's how Rachel Bloom describes Rebecca. Interview linked in last week's review.

Publishing at noon!

Fair.

…I'm sorry I offended you with my opinion about which illegal activities are more damaging.

The IMDB listings for CExG are often pretty inaccurate.

That's exactly what I think is so interesting about it. He's not wrong, but he's lying to himself about why he's doing it, just like Rebecca. It's accurate, but petty and small, and it is absolutely not about protecting Josh and/or Valencia.

9/11 gets a brief mention in the book, but both the book and the show tie Al's motivation to his own feelings about Vietnam, and Jake's willingness to take action to his connection to Al. But yeah, same.

I've seen Casual, another Hulu original, selling episodes On Demand through Comcast, but it's probably cheaper just to pay for a month of Hulu and watch it within that month.

Yeah, quite a turnaround. I was super impressed.

THANK YOU. Couldn't place him.
