Yyyyyyep. On all counts.

That's pretty much how I feel.

Yeah, I didn't know they were related. I always think of him as one of the go-to creepy guys for film and TV.

Nice catch. I completely missed that.

The movie is totally worth watching. It isn't without flaws, but it's pretty great with a few great performances (Samantha Morton, who plays Laura Regan's character Agatha, is particularly excellent). And there's a sequence involving spoiled milk that is just horrifying.

Totally possible that I misheard it.

Yep, a closet or in a car. It made me think of that terrible episode of GLEE where Rachel decides she's in love with teach.

Somebody start a petition at whitehouse.gov and I will absolutely sign it.

Yeah, it really flowed. Can't wait to see if/how they keep that up!

Hey! Sure thing. It looked pretty great, huh? And thanks for the kind words!

Agreed. That was a solid bit.

Yeah, so far they seem to have a real knack for landing the joke and then adding one little tiny gem on the end. Not groundbreaking, but damned enjoyable.

Same!

I liked the last one (obviously), but hearing the opening to "Uptown Funk" made me grit my teeth. Still, I'll take a pop song over weepy instrumental music telling you this is a Very Special Scene any day. I loved that hospital scene (Brewster is so good) but the music really soured it for me. No manipulation needed,

Yeah, that inevitability was my biggest turn-off.

Nice!

Yeah, Multiply is great as well.

That's how I felt! I didn't expect to hate it by any stretch, but I was really surprised by how much fun I had watching.

Man, somehow I didn't even notice the lack of a laugh-track. I guess that's an indication of how much time I spend watching sitcoms. Anyway, I agree on all counts.

Well, maybe that's the difference. I really wanted this show to be good—I love the movie, and I'm a big sci-fi fan in general—so the fact that it's not is incredibly disappointing to me. I'm hopeful next week's will be better, but then again, I hoped this week would be better, too.
