I thought "C" was for the word that The Onion used to describe a nine year old. Something The AV Club would've mocked the shit out of had it'd been anyone else's Twitter feed. I call bullshit. Where's the Ombudsperson?

Best episode of the series. Would make a beautiful stand-alone short film. It had a reality and sincerity that few other episodes of this show trade in.   

Or maybe people want to work with him because he's hugely talented and picks interesting and varied projects. Or maybe it's just cuz he said, "Girl, yeah." I prefer to believe the former.

I think the show could definitely use some serial killer magicians.

This is only bad television if you expect it to be good. Poe serial killers?  Insane scrawling on attic walls?  James Purefoy's ridiculous dialogue?  Kevin Bacon.  I say it's pure magic.  

Someone should write a For Your Consideration on why AV Club feels obliged to cover this show at all.  If any other series received such consistently low grades it would be unceremoniously dumped from the review lineup.  It's pedigree alone (and perhaps the glee from tearing down the uneven self-ascribed genius,…

The Dark Knight Rises has got to be on this list.  I'm stunned that the AV Club not only gave that awful movie a pass, but went as far as praising as one of the best of the year.
