"I have been acquiring all of her Birds of Prey and Secret Six run (almost have every trade…lots of them are out of print though so it's been annoying) just on her name alone, because I have heard nothing but good things and love her JLU episode. I hope I am in for some good stuff cause uhh I've spent lots of money on

Yeah.  Hellblazer's demise and Karen Berger's departure pretty much guarantees the death of the most esteemed mainstream comics 'label' in history.  Sad.

I liked that comment.  But really, I enjoy superhero comics.  I really enjoy genre comics.  But one that actually involve the medium.  Right now, I'll go out of my way to read Hawkeye or Waid's Daredevil (Not a huge Waid fan, but he seems to get it a lot better now then he did back in the day).  I still enjoy Batman,

And gorillas.  And bad comic relief.  And the fact that it exits your brain two seconds after reading it.

I would say the reason is that she is a completely mediocre writer who doesn't write comics so much as forgettable superhero stories that will populate back issue boxes for years to come.

It was a way too acerbic performance from Guy Pearce due to the script.  Every single line of his in that movie was a quip.  When he was alone with the girl and she just kept feeding him straight lines to quip off of, I wanted the convicts to bust in and kill them both.

I mostly agree.  I've liked some of his other movies, but Sin City is the best and it mostly isn't because of him.   One of his biggest problems is casting and Sin City doesn't have that problem because Rourke and Willis and Dawson were perfect for their roles.

Which might be easier if the premise was not as stupid as humanly possible.  I keep reading awesome reviews of this movie, but my brain can't get around how at its heart, it is a movie about the mob having access to time travel and using that power for the very extravagant purpose of sending people back in time to

One of the more disturbing parts of Paradise Lost and the sequels is how they keep identifying new suspects.  They pretty much buried one of the fathers in the second sequel and then pretty much backed off of that and identified ANOTHER father.   If you're making films about how people are being railroaded because
