The first half hour is fart jokes, lesbian jokes, and jokes about anal sex. Just about every SNL skit now resembles bits from Family Guy.

Also, have you taken over writing for Kenneth's character on 30 Rock? That dude is becoming Urkel, and I'm thinking of not watching the show next week for the first time in three years.

TomWaits, you're okay in my book, but that was some terrible dialect writing. Less is more, my man.

The Gap? That's still a thing? And still with the dancing and the white backgrounds and the smiling faces of the douchey douches? Oy. It's a shonda.

Kenneth is turning into fucking Urkel.

Pretty sure she called her a dirty bitch last week. I'm sure she'll be back, but I wouldn't necessarily call them friends. Dee just goes to her when she gets the acting bug or wants to re-create Sex and the City or needs to dump crippled boyfriends off on her.

It's been at least fifteen years since I tore through most of King's books. The two things I remember the most are the dude jerking off all over the house in Cujo and the shitstorm Dolores Claiborne has to clean up.

James Motherfucking Brown.

Stop making up words, Oprah's Minge.

Warren Oates called me cool (and I didn't even mention how often I watch Bring Me The Head of Alfredo Garcia or Cockfighter!).

Haven't read him yet
But I enjoyed the documentary he made about Canada, being Canadian, and his Canada House project. Anyone else seen that?

I scan TCM's listings two weeks at a time with the DVR just about every other day. In the next couple weeks, I have on tap Greaser's Palace, The Time of Your Life, Fat City, and Poor Pretty Eddie.

Repo Man is the first one that popped into my head (and I do watch the damn thing close to ten times a year, probably), but there are too many to admit… As many movies as I've seen, it's embarrassing how many times I've seen some of them.

Also, Bottle Rocket.

I hate this country more and more every day.
Goddammit.

Repo Man
Always intense.

Wasn't he the drummer for Steely Dan at some point or something? Whoever wikipedia'd CC dorms four times should look that up for me.

VIBES was the one that got me laughing the most. Also, the classic Short Circuit 2 rather than the original was pretty funny.

I've seen all the movies mentioned in this thread, which are good fun, but none of them compare to the old British flick Night of the Demon (aka Curse of the Demon) with the gigantic, flying, furry demon fucker chasing after people who've been voodooed by a fat British asshole. That's a quality flick right there.

I bought Bride of Re-Animator on VHS about ten years ago. It's not as good as the original, obviously, but it does have some brief nipplage from Alotta Fagina.
