DO THE DOGCATCHER DOGCATCHER
DO THE DOGCATCHER
DO THE DOGCATCHER DOGCATCHER
DO THE DOGCATCHER
There was some gayness in Miller's Crossing… remember Buscemi's character?
I'd recommend Black Mass if you like other Willeford stuff… a white atheist conman goes down south and takes over as pastor for a black congregation so he can fuck them out of all their money. But it turns out he makes a pretty damn good pastor, delivering great sermons and helping a lot of the people (while also,…
Ah yes, but that is an overlap of the Coreys Principle. Two Coreys could derail any movie with a kickass character actor.
Yeah, Custard seems like a story about four twenty-something pervies that like to get shiftaced. Each section shifts to a new POV, and the stories get more violent with more sex, death and crime until the final chapter that I don't want to reveal for anyone who is interested.
Devastating Breakups vs. Extreme Devastation
I do associate music, movies, etc. with exes, and I have some issues with those things, but if that's one of the worst aspects of the breakup, you're getting off pretty easy. And for the most part, there is a limitation to the moratorium.
And second the praise for Miami Blues… another favorite…
I'd love to see Black Mass of Brother Springer or Shark Infested Custard made into movies, though I fear the latter would turn out like Very Bad Things.
Vashist, you got those designs yet?
Cockfighter is fucking awesome. I wish they'd adapt more Charles Willeford stuff into movies.
I will watch anything with Harry Dean
I love this movie. Stanton is probably one of my top three favorite actors. He never disappoints… Just watched Straight Time from Netflix tonight because of him (though this Hoffman fellow wasn't bad either… plus M. Emmet and Busey!).
Hey Vashisht, you finished with those designs yet?
TENSE SHIFTS.
It was Pip! (How many years has it been since he was on the show? Back when they were looking for a new friend to replace Kenny?)
Cheever is the man. I wasn't comparing what I do in my spare time to the legacy of him.
Saget sucked dick for coke!
It goes in cycles…. most of the great late 70s/early 80s comedies are R. Then, you're right, a wave of shitty R comedies come out and destroys the good will built up by the brilliant ones.
Sort of.
Nealon did sing repeatedly "Gonna go back in tiiiiimmmeee" when Michale J. Fox and he were on the same elevator. That and Mr. Subliminal. Other than that, he did fuck-all on SNL.
Luckily, black people don't ski.
