I felt like Bellflower would have been much more compelling if it were chopped down to about 50 minutes.

Friday - I was off work, so I sat in the rain for 6 hours in line for Jack White tickets.  The show is at small venue, and I knew online tickets would sell out instantaneously.  After accomplishing the mission, I went home and watched Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil on Netflix Streaming.

30 Rock was much better than Community last night.

I usually don't react physically to movies, but Inside was rough to watch.

I thought the same thing.  I think a straight-up talk show wouldn't let him dramatize the family/relationship/neurotic material from his standup, which is where he seems to want to go with the show.

I'm happy for Maron, and hope this is good, but having fictional interviews seems like a weird approach.  I could see it being entertaining if the segments are based on actual podcasts, with guests coming on to re-enact the highlights, but part of the thrill of WTF is that the tension is real and unscripted.  That

When I was working part time as a grocery store cashier, I rang up a woman who toured with the Allmans as Derek Trucks's high school tutor.  She said everyone lived in constant fear of Dickey Betts, but that he brought good energetic tension to the proceedings.

There is still a lot of great musicianship in the more recent version of the Allmans.  I don't get the hippie hate either.  They aren't any less sanitary, than say, Megafaun's or Broken Social Scene's fans.
