It was a great run, that's for sure.  But I think that Young Justice has shown it can tell a coherent story with an ever-expanding ensemble cast.  Not sure if other shows will utilize the same continuity, but I'd love to see a show with the Flash family from the YJ series.

Though not really a newbie, I agree that this can sum up some of the comic story lines of the old DC universe, and gloss over some of the not-so-good parts.

Another solid episode, continuing a great stretch and season.  It's probably been said, but this season is shaping up to be one of the best of any animated superhero show.  They're doing a great job of blending in several comic stories and spotlighting the personal lives just the right amount, in my opinion.…

I'd say you should start with watching "Ability." That said, there are episodes in the later seasons (S4, for the most part) that have some connections to the season 1 episodes.  You don't need to have seen the episodes, but it helps
