There's an amazing version of Alice in Wonderland starting Kate Burton as Alice. The cast is superb: Richard Burton, Colleen Dewhurst as the Red Queen, Maureen Stapleton as the White Queen, Fritz Weaver, Nathan Lane, James Coco, Andre Gregory…… and a wee Zeljko Ivanek plays the white rabbit!
And if you've never heard

I LOVE those books, but I think you and I might be the only people enjoyed the movie. I wanted more of them, too.

I'm just here to sing the praises of The Dark is Rising series. Excellent books!!!!
They're the only books I've ever overread- to the point that the last time I went to read them, I realized I had nearly memorized every word.

Thank you! The truth is, I wouldn't even have noticed if I hadn't seen Woody Harrelson's mistress do basically the same thing just last week. Since this was only the third episode of TD I've seen, it seemed like the preferred method of introducing female characters.

Thank you!
I feel like such an idiot.
It was a joke, merely a terrible, terrible joke.

Good lord, I should just delete the stupid comment.
It was meant to be facetious. I know that there are women who love giving head. I can't share my personal thoughts on the subject because my mom reads the comments, but suffice it to say I regret posting what I thought was a silly joke about penises being not that

Or, alternatively, you might have taken my statements a wee bit too seriously.

Was she really? Well now I just feel dumb.
(Rather than like a prudish old fart)

I liked her, too.
But Christ, that *this is all the information you need to know about the character, her family, upbringing, and the origin of all her current difficulties* as presented by her father in what was (presumably) supposed to be believable conversation really made me cringe.

I think I was a little confused about the nature of their relationship. The idea that he had never spent the night gave me the impression that they weren't dating so much as having rare and disappointing sex.

David Morse!
Couldn't remember his name for the life of me. I was completely traumatized by him in Dancer in the Dark and I've harbored irrational fear and loathing towards him ever since.

(I was joking)
But really it's just a thing that always makes my eyes roll. I've had boyfriends, too, and while it's a great piece of anatomy to have around, I've never known a woman to miss having it in her mouth so terribly much.

Since the show failed to provide the appropriate disclaimer, evidently it's fallen on me to be the bearer of bad news:
The woman who is absolutely positively dying/ cannot wait another minute to get the man's dick in her mouth…….
Not a real thing.
Sorry, men (and boys).

"homosexual BS agenda crusaders "? "herto"?
I……….do not wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

"Now, Swift—being a young person who feels ways about stuff—"
Oh, avclub, never change.

Ca-na-dians?
Never heard of it.

Seems like a good place to confess that I have loved The Rock ever since I saw him on Punked, where he maintained his composure and was gracious and adorable- up until the point when Any sane, rational person would have gotten angry.
And yes, I do judge all celebrities based on how they acted (reacted) on Punked. I

Indeed!

You are so right.
Clearly he needs to provide a disclaimer before each show,

"Jon Stewart doesn't call out U.S. bombings in the Middle East anymore. He cheers them on. "
Link, please.
