I've been at shows where people heckled, and it sucks no matter if they were warned or not. There's just this feeling of uncomfortablness all around. You know the comedian can hear the douche, but you're trying to just have a good time. It really sucks.

My take is that he should not be expected to give his performance since the audience didn't act in accordance with their part of the social contract.
