True stuff. I can't in good faith say the Xmen movies were good when the mutants hardly fought each other. Although I do think Spiderman 1 captured the spirit well. And Iron Man got the snark right.

That's odd you say that, because it only took me about six hours over two days to get through it, although I did slow down quite a bit with those letters at the end.

It's probably in my top 10 of all time. It's long but I was so absorbed by it I read the whole thing in two days just sitting in my room. It's also a genuinely creepy book, a real horror novel. Perfect for October.
