I'm not saying I'm an expert on Gaiman's finances or anything, but with TV rights to American Gods just being sold, the rerelease of American Gods 10th Anniversary, and the fact that HBO is having him write American Gods on what I'm assuming is a salary, I can't see why he wouldn't have money, but I could be wrong.
