It works because it has substance unlike other horror flicks that only offer usual story with faulty plot. Not to mention a good cast that delivered in Insidious 2.

Yeah, it looks like a flop already. I wonder why do they think that Ray Liotta has to be in every other mob movie. Besides, not every director can manage a bunch of actors in a movie like Guy Ritchie.
