I was just watching clips of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. He did a great job as Control. The scene where he mocks Percy is a stand out.

I will never understand that. He has been in how many Scorsese movies, has tons of sex with supermodels on his yacht, has been in many classics, why the hell does he care about that stupid statue that's voted on by a bunch of people in their 80's who don't even watch the shit they are voting on?

Agreed and I think the cultural division between the coasts and working class/middle america can actually be salved a bit by Juggalos getting support from the latte liberal set.

They do have a legitimate grievance against the F.B.I. And in this time of division, it would be good to stand with the marginalized and the outcasts.

Its almost as if products are marketed by class and cultural signifiers more than quality of product.

Never saw Frozen and didn't see the book of mormon so I never knew he had successes. I guess that makes enough sense for me.

I enjoyed it with reservations at 16 (didn't think it was weird enough) and I don't want to entirely hate it now so I have never seen it since.

I really need to see that movie.

We never got the name of the book she always carried around did we? Perhaps it was The Story of O.

I feel bad because he is a human being with feelings just trying to do a good job. But my god I don't understand why he keeps getting work. Is he someone's nephew or something?

Keep us updated on the doc. I am always impressed and admire when the commentators here are living the dream.

I hear ya. 90% of the music I listen to his vocals so I don't mind taking a break from it every once in a while. There are tons of great instrumental bands out there, it opens up a while new world to ya.

The ACLU would disagree with you. You have the right to advocate for any beliefs you want in this country (U.S.A.). At the end of the day, they really believe government and society would be better off if their odious policies were put into play and they have a right to redress their government as such.

Thank you. It was very eye opening to me learning about Rosa Luxemburg, the Spartacus League and that people were having gun fights in the streets with the Nazi's before they came to power.

Good Exclusive AvClub! She creates fantastic video installations as part of her live show as well. I feel she doesn't get enough credit as an experimental filmmaker. If you ever get the chance to see her live, check it out!

Also by using the word Zionist you delegitmize people with legitimate grievances with the nation of Israel and you don't help their cause. So fuck off with that.

I like Shia too. He is genuine in his performance art stuff and seems like an affable guy. He calls Michael Bay and Spielberg out on their bullshit. Good for him. He is also a legit good actor.

Well, technically they do. We have a right to safety from battery. You could say a woman speaking out in favor of abortion in 1910 would be as odious as a Nazi speaking today and I would say she shouldn't get punched in the face.

Yeah, I know that is some hand wringing on the left about punching that Nazi and I simply can't get worked up over it. Do I think it is morally okay to punch someone who is essentially exercising their 1st amendment rights, Not really. Do I care that a Nazi got punched, not at all.

Yeah, but I don't want to be surrounded by all those jam bands.
