I tried doing it normally so many times, got both down to near death then double slide attack from both usually wiped me out, same with the shaman bone method i'd kill one then the other would gimp slide me into oblivion.

If you go in via the ledge near the two Winter Lanterns and throw knives at the Sharkmen to aggro them you can hit them from this ledge using the transformed Beast Cutter or Threaded Cane with fire added. Takes a bit of time and they can still hit you if your too close to the edge but its the safest method.

It took me until Bloodborne. I started playing Demon's Souls and got past the second boss but gave up, i then started Dark Souls and made it out of the Undead Asylum and then gave up again.
