I don't think that season 3 had the highest amount of amazing episodes (that goes to season 2), but in my opinion it was the best season overall. I can't wait to get the dvds and watch the entire season sometime this summer

@avclub-954aef1dd01f3d3bb8e12966116cfdd1:disqus I agree, except I don't think I'm willing to punch myself in the balls repeatedly…
Sofia won't end up submiting this episode to the emmys. but only because it's really the one she should submit. I can't think of anything much funnier from her this season. it was great.
then they should have used that as the excuse, and not, "Karen has something that you don't."
haha good. I was judging.
@avclub-4fb31f9907483a41a11fe166f194e4c8:disqus there was one way they could have gotten away with Karen as the lead: if they had claimed that it was too soon after the whole Heaven on Earth debacle for her to lead her own show. In reality, that actually makes sense. If an actress had single handedly ruined a…
No matter how much people might hate Glee, that's one thing they got really right. Casting. It seems so simple, but yet Smash did so much wrong with it. Ironic that a show almost entirely about the casting of a role failed to properly cast its characters
*you're
that's true. I'm glad they didn't try to get her to replicate Let's Be Bad. it would be impossible. Angelica Huston is currently the only one getting any real Emmy buzz for this show, but that's just because she's Angelica Huston. Megan Hilty is the one who deserves it
at least on Glee they cast an actress who is believable as their "star" lead, Rachel. Lea Michele is the best technical singer, so it works (at least casting wise). Smash, not so much.
Ivy does end up killing herself, but they retain Megan Hilty and her angel costume to follow Karen around and haunt her. Karen feels so guilty about her role in Ivy's suicide, that she kills herself, and the rest of the cast follows suit. Tom steps in to play every role. Sounds like Emmy gold to me.
it was Derek who told Megan Hilty that. but same difference. and yes, that was one of many cringe worthy moments, along with "I got them to put some vinegar on it for you dad!" Oh Leo….
and Leo gets sent to China to find his sister
I don't even know how to deal with this episode. Some parts were some of the worst moments in television history. I was literally screaming at the tv when Megan Hilty was told that Kat McPhee has something that she doesn't. However, the last 10 minutes or so, or at least the musical numbers, were fantastic. McPhee…
her entire scene with Sally was magnificent. It was a good night for Jessica Pare.
it was almost as good as her slowly eating the stuffing, trying to make sure it stayed in her mouth as long as possible without anyone else noticing what she was doing. Jones was born to play Fat Betty, but sadly virtually nothing else
while she's not a fantastic actress by any means, I think she fits Betty perfectly. I laughed so hard at the whipped cream part. It was lifeless and wooden, but that's how it was supposed to be. It was completely in character as Fat Betty, who I seem to like much better than previous Bettys. It gives her another…
yeah I don't agree with the C-
I'd say B, minimum B-
the next episode is great though
there's so much competition and Awake doesn't have that large of an audience, so it's not extremely likely that he'll get a nomination in the drama category. He'd have a much better chance, and even might win, if they moved to the miniseries category
she's listed in the main cast, but I swear she's only been in about 4 episodes, if not less
