Also, Bobby denied another boy the opportunity to sit next to him on the picnic blanket because that was HIS MOM'S SPOT. If that isn't a sign of him worshipping her, I don't know what would be. This is such a sad story. I disagree that Betty is incapable of loving Bobby, but when she perceives in him something that

I liked especially how the end hug very much felt like a call-back to the "to meet different people" hugs in documentary filmmaking: redux. I know it was kind of just another hug, but the way it was shot, it just seemed like the old show again.

There were a lot of snubs in the Director category, but in my opinion, Bigelow, Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Wes Anderson would all be more worthy nominees than Affleck

oops. double post. stupid iPad app.

It wasn't awful, but I really didn't laugh all that much, which was concerning enough.

I mean it wasn't bad, but plot elements aside, it didn't make me laugh very much, which was strange.

I started watching The West Wing on Netflix after I saw this. I love the West Wing, but it was tough. Everyone almost seemed too happy, and compared to the things that Frank had to do here, passing a bill in that show's version of Congress was a cake walk.

hmm. of those listed, I can only even picture Goggins. On a side note, I disagree with what you say about the Sheens. Martin has the ability to be fantastic. He genuinely is a very good actor. I've only ever seen Charlie be solid, and those are on his best days.

Me too. But Spacey is the weak link here??? Please. Sure, he's not quite as good as Stoll, but I can't think of another working actor who could have pulled off this roll.

now I'm actually glad that Community moved to Friday. Maybe now it stands a chance of maintaining steady ratings rather than being sucked into th3 ratings-less vortex that is NBC Thursdays

well that's possible, but they showed that not everyone likes the show by not nominating it for best comedy series

finally a major Emmy nomination for Community! Without competition from the Emmy hoarding Modern Family in this category, it might even win!

not to nit-pick, but here's another mistake Donna: "He idly arranges his bacon in a mirror-image S pattern." It's his birthday. He made the number 52. :) Otherwise, great write up

that is one thing that Mad Men has failed at: sustaining the Francis family storylines separate from the Draper/SCDP storylines. Granted the Francis plots are lead by January Jones, but still. That is something that could have been done better
