Is this because he's a flamer? Because I told you that in confidence!

* me ha molestado

You guys can have your "Last Exit to Springfield." For me, this is the best episode ever.

I've always thought of Huell as more of a Dr. Manhattan figure.

@avclub-e3f5ab7f02122f95b801e13e2c586d6a:disqus  Yes.

…yeah. Totally Koyaanisqatsi-esque. Majorly.

Producer gave me a beat, said "it's the beat of the year!"/
I said "Lou Pearlman didn't do it, so get the fuck out of here!"

Ooooh, not Souter!

1) Lady Lamb the Beekeeper — Ripely Pine
2) The So So Glos — Blowout
3) Deerhunter — Monomania
4) Foxygen — We Are The 21st etc. etc.
5) My Bloody Valentine — mbv
6) Futurebirds — Baba Yaga
7) Thee Oh Sees — Floating Coffin
8) Run the Jewels — Run the Jewels
9) Kurt Vile — Wakin' on a Pretty Daze
10) Camera Obscura — Desire

I think "He Would Have Laughed" by Deerhunter is one of the best songs of the past decade. It's about Jay Reatard, who wasn't a band member, but they toured together a lot and they covered each others' songs on a 7".

What about President Ta'quil? His "All That Jizz" platform is pretty badass.

I'm meeting you halfway you stupid hippies!

Do you respect the chemistry, Jesse?

Here's $10. Go buy a Jock Jam.

I have a bunch of them (and they are really short), but the one I don't have and really want is "Man, I'm Blue." The one that goes, "When I'm down, so down, staring at the ground…"

@avclub-792b765aa995daf26cf6f17f519c949d:disqus  Man, Robert De Niro really disappeared into that role, huh?

Oh no! Did a Korean person die?!

Second.

Okkervil River is actually the only band I've ever seen there. I thought it was okay. The sound was really weirdly inconsistent — it sounded perfect, but then you'd move ten feet over and you couldn't hear anything. And I'd rather go there again 10,000 times than ever set foot in Webster Hall again.

I'm gonna go get the papers get the papers.
