Ditto. I was going to reply more, but I realize I can defend the Stones all the way up to today. There are a few songs here and there that I can do without, but as a whole, there are tracks on every album that I love.

Oh I hope so. I heard the company that would handle the tour is in the middle of a huge lawsuit. Hopefully the Stones have figured a way out of it and will tour again for their 50th Anniversary. I've seen them every tour starting with Steel Wheels and excluding No Security. For those wondering if they should go see…
Great write up
Great article, AV Club always has the best stuff.
Good record
Thought I was let down with the first listen, but it's growing on me fast. The Running Range and Rolling Blackouts are straight up great and I think do sound different than their usual sound. But like someone already mentioned, sounding like the other two albums is not exactly a negative if you love them…
I find it funny
…that the best band and the worst band of 2010 have eerily similar names.
Make that "wouldn't lessen it one single iota."
I understand the criticism here, and actually agree with most of it.
@ Ghost Of Tom Riddle
Right there with ya on that one. That's part of the reason I'm not mad about the "spoilers" in the comments above. I hate spoilers, but I am pretty sure this movie would have gone down a little easier if it had been spoiled for me. "spoilers" is a term I associate with entertainment, and while it was effective and…
This movie…
Saddest. Movie. Ever. I like sad movies, they're good for a cathartic emotional release, but this one is over the top, easily the saddest movie I've ever seen bar none. Those poor grandparents… really, my heart still breaks for them, what horror they had to live through, having to treat that vile being…
Furthermore…
If they put this out, they should definitely release "Stripped" and "Rewind" on DVD.
As much as I like and respect Ron Wood (the Stone with the best solo output hands down), the Mick Taylor years were pretty special.
Agreed. Anyone unfamiliar with the Stones who counts LSTNT as their first exposure would wonder why anyone would ever want to see them live, and that's VERY weird. It must be an accomplishment to make a bad concert movie with a band that is definitely worth seeing live. The unlucky stars aligned for them on this one,…
Bullshit, Lobsters. You just haven't been listening. The Stones still come up with great songs, and still sound great on tour.
There are great songs on recent albums too. "Moon Is Up", "Out Of Control", "Rough Justice", "Laugh, I Almost Died", "Thru And Thru", "Saint Of Me", and the odd off single "Jump On Top Of Me" are all killer.
"No Security" is a good recent live album, too.
Love the Stones, but…
I love the Rolling Stones, I even love a lot of their recent stuff. There are truly great songs on their most recent albums, and the "Shine A Light" concert movie is about 80% great. They sounded awesome on the most recent tours, and I think they still have good songs and good tours left in them.
I'm not Sean (nor do I play him on TV) but I'll give it a shot.
Looks like these spiders are…
And a concussion is pretty serious too, since it's a brain injury. But yeah, broken wrists and feet, even with a full recovery, are probably going to be the kinds of things you still feel for the rest of your life. And that it happened to stunt people or dancers, that's even worse since their bodies are their…
