I'm not sure why my wife finds Ruffalo sexy, as I think he looks like a Neanderthal. Vagina, though? Not so much.

Ah, had I but scrolled down a bit further I would have found the Jimmy Stewart discussion!

For my money one of the all-time greats was made well before these and really turned the macho gunslinger notion on it's head: Destry Rides Again.

Ditto, Julie, and I counted down the days until Down By Law opened. That said, I saw Stranger Than Paradise in Seattle in 1984 but I can't claim I remember the marquee joke he mentions. Of course I was 14 at the time and had just discovered the devil weed so my memory can be a bit hazy.

Oops. Plus, forgot:

1. Stranger Than Paradise
2. Down By Law
3. Broken Flowers
4. Dead Man
5. Mystery Train
6. Night On Earth
7. Coffee and Cigarettes

B. Rex,

Fritzy-poo, I concur 100% on Whale Rider.

A shout out to hogarth who mentioned Spiderman 2. I admit, I get a bit weepy at that scene. A superhero movie? Lord, I'm embarrassed…

I'm with udjibbom; I wanted to like it but every episode has been more groan-inducing. Worst of all is that while I remember a moment of "sexy/witty banter" being the most groan-inducing thing in the last episode the show is so forgettable that I con't even remember what the particular flavor of cheese was that made

I'm shoving Mark Hamill in his mom as we speak. And I thought she smelled bad on the outside…

Chris Joss - "You've Been Spiked"

Episode: The first one, only because I had no idea what to expect and I have always hated the musical numbers in every comedy ever until then…
Song: If You're Into It
Line: (Paraphrasing) "Oh, I get it. Hot bod, gross face…"

RE: the acid. I had assumed it was a precautionary move, as you said, which I thought was a smart touch, showing that they've thought through this stuff and that Hakan loves Eli enough to go to extremes to protect her.

I can understand hating the CG, but I was OK with it simply because that scene was so very funny. I guess I can accept some dicey effects if they're surrounded by what I consider a great film…

Don't know anything about the Hollywood version but I'd expect Shia LaBoef and Leighton Meester to star in it and for some sweet-ass explosions.

I'd assumed it was supposed to be clear from the blazing GMC logo that it was most certainly not Tuco and was merely Walt's paranoia getting the better of him. Why else make a point of mentioning that Tuco has an Escalade?

Absolutely the best show on television right now. And I also concur, Mad Men can eat me. I appreciate the art and set decoration but it's a goddamn soap opera! Possibly the prettiest one ever, but still…

I agree Castle looks headed for cancellation, but hey - Bones and House are still somehow on TV and they suck…
