Not to mention Nestor Carbonell saying "She shoots fire from her teats" in a sexy accent.

I thought it was "Bring Burton Back".

What reality TV show *doesn't* use overblown hyperbole and exaggeration?

Have to agree with MNCyGuy. I think the show is more about the coaches than the singers (whether that was the original intention or not). I also think a good deal of the voting is swayed by who the singer's coach is, which is why Blake's won three times in a row. (It's the only explanation for Jermaine Paul I can

". . . arguably the most storied trophy in all of sports."

Okay, maybe "lock" was too strong. I'd totally forgotten about Malcolm's advantage last season. (Too much Survivor! Too many details to remember!)

True enough. Point taken.

Does anyone have any thoughts about the reward challenge being the key to win the immunity challenge? I realize it was a last-minute fix due to Erik's evacuation, but I wasn't really keen on seeing the winner of the reward challenge becoming a lock to win immunity. That's two challenge wins for the price of one. Why

The worst prominent player of Survivor is Russell Hantz.

Andy, your analysis of Dawn is right on the mark.

Ghosts, I am 100% with you on your analysis of Cochran in South Pacific. Not everyone can make a brave stand against so many people relentlessly dumping on you (it wasn't just Ozzy, although he was by far the worst offender), especially when it's a game where standing up for yourself can get you booted off the tribe.

Most definitely . . . but minus Probst.

I second (actually third at this point) a classic Survivor game with new players, but starting with three tribes instead of two.

Yes to better casting. And I like the idea of a brains vs. brawn game that has been thrown around here in the past.

I don't know. If captains were allowed to pick tribes after a couple of days of individuals, then they'll probably pick people they've made early bonds/alliances with and then continue to solidify as a tribe (and the last person picked who they get stuck with would be an easy boot). If those alliances stand when it's

"I am the author of my fate!!!!!"

And was it me, or did Jeff not let a single person complete a sentence? SHUT UP, PROBST.

While Reynold did redeem himself a bit, I still can't get over how he was so indignant that his obvious foursome should be a target.

I think Caramoan could crack the top 10.

Eddie wouldn't hold a grudge because he thought he got the "biggest threat" boot. It's a giant ego stroke to the self-unaware.
