I'm not a natural naysayer, but I don't feel good about this concept. Perhaps I've been soured by The Amazing Race: Family Edition, perhaps I'm getting tired of the endless parade of returnees (who almost always disappoint the second time around, especially if they were likeable the first time around). (Cochran being

But in all-stars, wasn't he kicked out right at the start for being a big strategic threat?

I think you have to grade jury performances differently: people who weren't locks to win and then won should get more points than people who were pretty much assured a win.

When I get nervous, I start smiling, regardless of the situation. Which makes people uneasy. Which makes me more nervous. Which makes me smile more.

Totally agree, andythesaint.

"After the Andrea vote, the only way Cochran could have lost would have been to not make it to the final three at all."

What was up with the Rudy/Richard interview? Why exactly are we acknowledging Survivor's 13th year anniversary?

Don't forget they had to cram as many tweets into the show as possible. Because I'd rather hear gushing from Joe Q. Public than anything an actual contestant on the show might say. #STOPIT

I don't think Brenda's going to be bitter at the final tribal. I have a feeling she was mostly shocked by Dawn's vote.

Yes to this. Yes, yes, yes. It would require manpower, but it'd be worth it. There's a lot of uncovered reality shows out there we need to snark on.

I think it would have been easier for Sherri and Erik to flip if Malcolm had won immunity. It's more important to send Malcolm home than keep that potential alliance. Alliances aren't beneficial to free agents anyway. It's safer when groups blow up or dissolve.

I thought he was being sarcastic with the challenge beast speech.

Andrea is to Malcolm as Tikkanen is to Gretzky.

What I like best about Patricia is that she understands that not everyone is going to get what she does. When the judges are all "I don't get it" she's not full of outrage and indignation one would normally expect with a reality show contestant. She has said many a time this season "I get that people don't get it."

Brenda radiates awesome even in the .02 nanoseconds she is ever on screen. The way she tackles every challenge is badass, and she weighs only slightly more than a pixie.

And he was pretty quiet through the rounds. No trash talking. No pretend gagging to make others gag. No shouting "Kunta Kinte!" as Eddie chews a beak.

I'm not a huge fan of Dawn, but I feel I must defend the easy criers of the world. I cry at the drop of a hat, but it's mostly just stress release. I like to think I sweat tears.

It's unfortunate that any commentary from Erik was cut to heighten suspense at TC, because I really want to know if there was any other reasoning besides "Uh . . . whatever." I really thought he was going to vote with the bro-lliance simply due to the fact that Philip treated him so poorly early in the game. I

Gotta love moments of unexpected badassery.

I know how you feel. No one could be that completely self-unaware. I mean, how would one function in Non-Reality TV World? Life (or some big dude named Spike) would kick your ass, right? RIGHT?!?!
