I think everyone has at least one cool tale of "I knew this celebrity before they were big." Unfortunately, mine is working at a small town record store where Chad Kroeger would show up every three months to restock the supply of their indie EP.

Do you think some of that could be Will Arnett's delivery?

I understand where you're coming from with the overproliferation (shut up spell check, I'm making it a word) of sex jokes and feeling conflicted by them. I'd laugh at all those jokes too (the whole Swallows bit had me on the floor, and I frequently quote the "That's not a Volv-o" joke to this day), but by the end of

Agreed, but  you can target someone without being all Jeff about it.

I think this season cements my theory that you never want your tribe to go on a gonzo winning streak early in the game. You don't want to be down in numbers, but you also need the opportunity to vote out people who are points of contention, otherwise familiarity breeds contempt and then the cracks start to form until

Just a theory, but I think if her game plan was sort of out there anyway (THANKS, PETE), then it's best to sort of wrest it back and take control of it in your own words in front of everyone else. Affirming you are a heavy strategist may be risky, but it could pay off if she gets to the F2/3.

I don't know . . . I thought he did fairly well in Cook Islands (or whatever season was the race war season) despite the odds against him. In FvF he struck me as being kind of unhinged. He was obsessed with voting out Parvati, and didn't he fight with Cirie a lot? I think that was especially hard for me to watch: two

Agreed. The exact same game as Brian H. & Rob (in All-Stars) (although he didn't win), but the best part was that she wasn't an ass about it.

Another vote for making three tribes permanent. Not only for the strategy factor, but there are more options for story telling . . . if there's not a lot of action at one tribe, there are two other options. I thought it made a difference this year.

I think it's because the douchebag level in this cast is relatively low. It's fine to have a few insufferable villains for conflict, but what I think producers of reality shows don't understand is that stacking the cast with A-type, "I may be an asshole, but I'm just being me!" kinds of people (hello, Big Brother!)
