No, they can't! John Walsh hasn't yet caught that sick bastard who killed his kid!

If Daniel Day-Lewis shouted at me, and in character as Daniel Plainview to boot, I would've shat all the underpants in the world right then and there.

I know this isn't a joke or anything, but man, SHARKBOY AND LAVAGIRL is a terrible film. Just hilariously awful on nearly every level. Every time Taylor Lautner pops out his "shark teeth" that look like they were bought at the Dollar General…just comedic gold.

Certainly in England I think they prefer to believe that I'm stone mad. That's how they account for all my electrolytes. But I always feel as if that has been largely misrepresented, the electrolytes that have been singled out…People are fascinated by the peripheral electrolytes, that they're what plants crave. But

Acting: 5% actual work, 95% coming up with new pretentious horseshit about "the craft".

Depends. I've never read Rattigan or Pinero. All I know is that barely anyone wrote dialogue that good before Mamet came along, so a lot of his stuff will definitely endure. His writings on politics and how to perform/direct theater? Ehh, not so much.

Hey, being illiterate has not gotten in the way of me being an actor! Hell, Malkovich gets his scripts in the form of building blocks!

In fact, all these quotes on acting that LaBeouf has up on his Twitter are from Mamet's book on his acting method, a method which basically says actors are only there to read and pronounce the words loudly instead of adding character details or worrying about that faggy subtext.

You know, for a minute there, I almost bought that LaBeouf was writing that faux-Mamet horseshit to Baldwin straight from his heart. Sure, it's still horseshit, but genuine horseshit nevertheless.

I myself am a method actor, and I can tell you clearly what my method is:
Read the script. Then read it again. Then read it again. Then again. Then again. And once more. And yet again. Repeat this until you're good.
But then again, I'm a terrible actor.

Minor correction: The play actually debuted in 1983, not 1936.
