Agreed. That was why it was so annoying.

Yea, I loved Sara and Snart stuck together but the circumstances leading to it were terrible.
Yea, during their fight all I could think was that he was somehow going to get the drop on her so that Cold would have to get the drop on him and that it would be ridiculous. I guess at least he did get his hands on the heat gun first but still.
I haven't seen this mentioned, and maybe we already knew this, but Lexa's argument with Titus about Costia indicates that she's 'walked the walk' regarding 'blood must not have blood' before. Well before meeting Clarke, she chose peace over vengeance, even over her own personal vengeance.
That'd work for me!
I really hope they show us Murphy and Clarke's conversation catching each other up while they are trapped together.
I love the idea of them interacting that way, and of Clarke being Commander, but Clarke's not a nightblood and you currently have to be that to be commander right?
In non-Lexa related discussion, I also loved the flashbacks and was happy halfway through the episode when I realized that we weren't seeing any Arcadia stuff to give the flashbacks time.
Yes! For numerous narrative and logistical reasons, Lexa was doomed to die from day 1. The fact that we got so much time (there was a point I was convinced she wouldn't make it out of season 2) and such a great character and great relationship is amazing.
Yea, I'd put money on AD-C/Lexa showing up at least once more this season. Helps soften the blow a little bit.
I figured it would be in battle (or maybe stabbed in the back by someone she trusted), but I'm almost maybe glad it wasn't? This way she never loses. She didn't lose a battle. She went out undefeated.
That's actually how I thought the episode was going in the beginning when Ilana first showed up at work and her boss was surprised to see her. I thought he was going to say the email he sent said she was fired (seems like something he would do). This was even better though.
I loved that. Glad to see Octavia can get past the tondc thing and it reminded me of the end of season two when it was just Octavia and Clarke left standing alone outside Mt Weather.
It's annoying because Bellamy did actually already get redeemed for being the reason a bunch of people died (throwing the radio away to save himself from being punished for attempted murder caused 300 people to die).
Yea, I can see both ways. In his conversation with Clarke he landed a few points I wasn't expecting (namely the bomb Lexa convinced Clarke to let drop potentially on Octavia and that Lexa's betrayal resulted in them having to kill all Mountain Men including the ones he'd personally been allied with - which is…
Ooh I like that. As the scene was happening, I was thinking about how Abby would react. It'd be interesting to have two mother-figures fighting for her.
Yea. While I agree there were some missteps in this storyline with Bellamy, I'm still really excited to see what happens next. I buy Lexa choosing peace - it is what she's always wanted - but there's definitely going to be big repercussions with the other grounders and it doesn't work without peace from Arkadia's side…
I was terrified by how relevant the rhetoric was. Yes, way over the top and too on the nose (like much of the show's dialog)…except…too true?
Yea I agree with Caroline. I would have had a problem with it if Cat hadn't immediately been 'You're fired.' (Because wow, what an overstep). But I can believe Kara snapping in her face and not backing down would have been enough to get un-fired.
True true. Looking forward to seeing what this show does with it!
