Season 6 had dramatic tension ratcheted up by really absurd plot twists but the thing about this season is, like Zack points out, the plot twists just seemed cheap. The death of Renee was cheap. Jack going off the reservation (more than usual) was cheap and President Useless was, well, you know.

I like this show a lot, but I don't think people should get their hopes up beyond a third season. Unless Abrams figures out how to cut cost drastically (maybe by hiring the casts non-union mexican equivalents) or unless the rating start to climb then we should appreciate what we have.

Actually the scene with the baby being born in the middle of battle and then the silence that follows is probably one of the most awesome scenes from a movie I have seen in a long time.
