I think Zach was a little too harsh on this episode. A lot of the elements worked for me and it is one of the better episodes of the season I think. It just feels more cohesive than most episodes this season. Even is it is spinning its wheels it is doing it in a enjoyable way. The thing I got most from this episode

That seems to be the most important question that came out of this, whether it was Walter-1 who inadvertently started the war or if the war would have happened anyway.

Ugh, what if he literally left Peter-1's body behind in place of Peter-2? Imagine Walter-2 waking up and finding dead Peter-1 on his couch.

Samuel. Motherfuckin. Jackson.
Jules would be a good choice but there are too many to count.

Motherfuckin Jean Reno in The Professional is the shit!

This episode was awesome
I love it when they bring everything together for the big payoff. I just wish there were more episodes like this, or just more episodes in general. It feels like they just came out of the break over the holidays and now this "winter finale" bs is getting on my nerves.
One nice touch I thought

Wow
I feel nauseous just looking at that stuff.

I sort of thought about that, but couldn't figure it out either way. Maybe it was too specific to Walter, but then what does Walter have that peter would not, besides old age? The only thing is how would Peter being from another universe grant him immunity to the toxin? Is Earth-2 DNA somehow supposed to be different

Off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure this was the bookstore where they were able to dig up the ZFT manual, while the typewriter was at an actual typewriter/repair shop, as revealed by the specificity of the model number when DoppleCharlie asked for it.

That was a sweet kill, with the Nazi yelling "Bischof, Traitor!" in his strangled voice.
I don't know if they necessarily needed to keep the Nazi around, per se, but I think the ideas and allusions he brought up in respect to the unethical scientists of the Nazi regime was a theme that could have brought resonance to

Oh hey, what about the BSG-24 connection. You got Agent Starbuck and now Russian gangster Number 2/Leoben.

Bleh, I cant use the grade system to register my disapproval for this episode. Given how many craptacular side-plots were shoehorned into this episode, I am beginning to have bad feeling about this season as a whole. Having to deal with just these side-plots sounds bad but then the writers have a tendency to introduce

I had a higher opinion of this episode because I missed it over the break. In retrospect it was formulaic, but you know what, I like the formula and that's part of why I watch the show.
Although it would have been way funnier with Cass playing the "crazy" angel in an asylum.

CONAN O'BRIEN IS THE MOTHERFUCKIN SHIZNIT!
FUCK CYNICISM.

Amen

What what!

The whole smart virus thing was hooey on this episode. Walter was basically ascribing sentience to the virus and then it was left at that. Not sure if they could have added more to the concept given how far off it was, but the execution felt flat, which is the worse part. I am willing to suspend my sense of disbelief

I thought people's performances were great but this episode was uneven to the point of frustration. Especially that point where Walter was like Virus Died Before>????>Mass Extinction by Volcano>????>Antidote is Sulfur. WTF?

Guys, your missing the point. Moon Bloodgood is hot!

I was thinking Gillian and Chevy could step up their game, but I'm not sure if its just the material they're given. I kind of think they under-utilize Yvette/Shirley. I would look forward to an Abed/Shirley plot, although I am thinking it might be a variation of a Troy/Abed plot just because some of the dynamics are
