I think the show is developing pretty well also. I first had reservations when it started but now I enjoy the show. Its breezy and all the characters are played well by their actors. Troy, Abed, Jeff and Annie are my favorites while the rest of the cast is still pretty good.

Could you really see Colbert hosting the Tonight Show? Stewart following Letterman might work, but still seems like an odd fit. Unless he pretty much just brought his show over and added a musical segment, that might work.

That's what I assumed it was Pimp.

I think they said this seasons plot is going to be connected to the events from last season, almost directly. So, its only a matter of time before the connections start to show up.

Simon, that sounds like the best idea so far.

Oh god, I wish it were so Skip. I wonder what kind of convoluted crap their going to come up with for this subplot.

What's up with the way Prinze talks? I don't remember it being that annoying. Is he trying at an accent or am I just hearing things, cause it kind of hurts my ears when he speaks.

I was going to to ask for an Amen but it has been answered.

This boy bears no resemblance to a Sasquatch
Or a Yeti for that matter!

Scott Tobias is in my head stealing my thoughts!
That was a weird coincidence with the Cardigans.
Nevertheless, your ideas intrigue me and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Fuck yeah!
I think mighty mouse is one of the very first vhs I owned as a kid (which explains much of my predilection for the dramatic).
All together now:
Here he comes to save the day!
And he will prove that crime will never pay!
So let the trumpet players play! (Da da da da rah)
For might mouse is here todayyy!

Yay!

This thread is made of win.

I prefer the Gray Incredible Philip Seymour Hoffman, he was not only more noirish and intellectual but got to the psychological issues of his repressed rage in a much more penetrating and revealing manner.

Sam, I think you have some good points and its an interesting read on the film but ultimately I don't think many people will be very receptive to what you say because of a basic underlying assumption. You write that the "characterization of the villains and their imperial designs cuts deliberately close to home." I

Holy shit, now I know way more about Thomas Kinkade than I ever wanted to. Actually, I never wanted to know about him, nevermind.

Whedon could do decent New Mutants movie. I always thought something like New Mutants on film would end up looking a lot like Buffy the Vampire slayer, only think mutant powers instead of slayer powers, but still most of the same angst.

I thought Puck was everyone's favorite mutant Canadian.

Why not just go all X-factor in that mofo and mix it up a bit. They would definitely need to give it a different spin and focus on the privatized mutant group thing and how muties survive in the real world and make a living but that would be so much better than some of these origin stories they are planning. They

Nice one urgh.
