When it comes to more "mainstream" film lists, I usually do pretty well and I get a false sense of pride, for instance, AFI's two Top 100 lists I've seen every film (I specifically set out to do that) and I hover around 240 of IMDb's Top 250, then I look at a list like this and that pride gets deflated, but in a good

Yeah, I saw that lineup about a month ago and it kind of floored me. There's even a bunch of bands that I don't even listen to anymore that I'd totally go see live, and now The 'Mats? Sonofabitch.

All joking aside, Can't Hardly Wait is a pretty fantastic movie.

Don't fuck with my Percocet! And do you have any Percocet?

…and is awesome.

I guess I just wasn't aware there was that much difference. I remember a certain amount of paranoia still present when I used to go (warnings about unwrapped candy, parental candy inspections, etc.), but I still never saw anyone out before dark, even little kids.

Enough kidding around.

That was one of the other scenes I thought of that bugged me.

Yeah, I figured it was just a television thing, but it still bothers me.

Did you hear that Princess Di was on the radio the night she died? And the steering wheel, and the dashboard…

The thing that bugs me about the sequence (and many other trick-or-treating sequences in TV and film), why do they start so early? All trick-or-treating I've ever done, which took place in the nineties, started after the sun went down.

The original Match Game is awesome, because it's barely a game show, more of an excuse for a bunch of reasonably famous people to hang out and screw around on national television.

THE A.V. CLUB

I'm getting a really unsavory vision of Liam Neeson saying, "RELEASE THE ASSHOLE!" and the resultant goings on.

@K. Thrace No no, go on.

Regardless of what I said above, yes, the fact that Justified isn't constantly nominated for everything is goddamn stupid.

And the award for Being on Television for a Really Rather Long Time goes to…

I'm with you too, but Terriers was cancelled. Plus it would probably be more of a comedy anyway.

Its achievements lie in makin' zombies go squish real good.

Someone make a zombie musical!
