Fun fact: if you play Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" in Windows Media Player on "Fast," it sounds like a perfect punk cover.

I think it's just called Zoom, and yes, it's fucking terrible. Spencer Breslin is in it, so from the get-go it couldn't be completely good, but there's plenty else to not like in it, although I don't remember specifics. I watched it on TV, and just remember thinking, "Wow, I really wish this was Sky High."

And the next Madea movie?

Ditto. It's just too enjoyable.

I do believe it. Sky High rules. I think it might be the mix of superhero and high school movie tropes combining and lending enough of a twist to one another that makes it so eminently watchable and enjoyable.

My problem with that movie is that the songs are WAY better than everything around them.

You went with all caps though. I couldn't commit.

Steve's cold!

Blah.

Amazingly, yes.

Agreed, that should replace that Willy Wonka meme that's been floating around for the sake of freshness.

I will stand with you, and the world will hear our cries of, "Yeah, not bad!"

Um yeah, I want to read this.

"Ensemble yukfest The Big Wedding…"

I don't love The Shawshank Redemption for it's plot. I love it for how it feels, if that makes any sense. It's a great hang-out movie.

I did Garden State backwards. I saw it in high school and it didn't really do anything at all for me. Then I went back and watched it in my early twenties and thought, "Hey, that was pretty good."

@avclub-e57f718840a576abbb40a7d046c4e3b0:disqus The fact that JGL isn't above schlock like that is kind of why I love him.

"Heh, yeah once."

The middle two make sense together. That's all I got though.
