Sadly, as time passes, I'm afraid we're not far off from an article like that: we're nearing complete contrarian hindsight recall saturation.

There's an incredible amount of tension that Jurassic Park builds, especially in those scenes where Hammond and co. are monitoring the park as it slowly comes apart.

So much CGI might actually look good on it's own, the problem is when they then stick said CGI in the middle of a scene where the surrounding action is all live-action. Whatever the CGI is, it ends up leaving that odd out-of-place CGI blurriness that becomes inescapable.

Considering how strange and idiosyncratic he was, how come Frank was never given a whole "he's still alive/he faked his own death!" obsessive fan thing?
