And bored us all to tears.
And bored us all to tears.
"I SWEAR BY…THUUHHH STUUUUAAAARRRRRS!"
Over-under on the amount of "bullets-bouncing-off-eyes" scenes?
Which is why the "Superman vs. Doomsday" movie should have been made, been rated R and go for all-out brutality. But, then again, it would get all CGI'd to death, probably.
Christopher Nolan's: "Some Pig", a brutal re-imagining of "Charlotte's Web".
I just want to know if Supes gets to sword fight Liam Neeson on an iceberg at any point in this.
God help me, I laughed out loud at this.
"There's a moment, about halfway through Del Toro's robot battle epic 'Pacific Rim', where all the great moments of what makes an incredible summer blockbuster truly come together…"
Crowe: "This is madness!"
Just listened through this for the first time, and I agree that this is definitely the weakest of the post-Futures output. Many of these songs seem like well-produced and more fleshed-out B-sides from the "Chase This Light" sessions.
Wrong band?
You got the Dud! Hey! He looks just like you, poindexter!
@avclub-7d26c14b4a096a0afc48154974c4b7d6:disqus I agree on "Here It Goes". I do like the penchant that JEW has for using a female as a background vocalist on many of their best songs. As far as Invented being a stronger effort, I think you're generally right. I love the song "You & I" which should've been an alt-rock…
Seriously, Kyle. I can't tell you from the drugs.
Saw them do "Semicolon" with Alanis Morrisette on Jimmy Kimmel and it fell pretty flat. It was nice to see Alanis has still got it!
The Residents?
I loved "At a Medium Pace". That's a great early example of "well, that escalated quickly".
He walked away and was like: "What's 'superimposed'?"
MARRY A MAN.
I love "Turtleneck & Chain" the song. The beat is legit banging. It's funny, but not in a joke-y way, more just an absurd fashion statement. Plus Snoop drops a great verse.
