With Willis in the movie, and knowing his penchant for starring in tripe like "Surrogates", the trailer for "Looper" really made me skeptical as well. How awesome it was to find out that Looper was way better than advertised.

I don't think Ebert even saw the movie in his review; he gets a ton of plot points incorrect; "James Gadolfini plays a mob boss…", etc.

Did anybody else think that Gyp was having a heart attack for the seconds before you see Tonino stabbing him? I was about to curse at the TV for an annoying use of deus ex machina to kill off such a despicable character.
