It is a fun show. Some of the supporting characters give some great, convincing performances, and the show is rife with decent threads of intrigue and political machinations. The first season is definitely recommendable.

I wish the show's focus was more on the closeted gay governor character. He was just as ruthless and bitter as Kane, with MORE power. That character arc had way more potential.
