My main problem was with the "Gipsy Danger is analog!" line of reasoning, both because it made no sense and because it was completely unnecessary as all the other jaegers were out of commission anyway. Other than that I loved pretty much everything.

Glad to hear Autre Ne Veut put on a good show. Anxiety is definitely one of my top albums of the year, and at this point "Play by Play" is unquestionably my favorite song of the past two years.

I second ghidorah's question. Autre Ne Veut, Mikal Cronin, Waxahatchee, and Parquet Courts have each released one of the best albums of the year so far, and that's ignoring all of the established favorites that the article also mentions.

I think everything about There Will Be Blood existed in the best possible way it conceivably could have. Seriously, I love that movie.

Watch FLCL. It's amazing, you can watch the whole series in three hours, and it has one of the better dubs of any anime series I've watched. In fact, it might be preferable to watch FLCL dubbed your first time through, to make sure you're able to absorb as much as you can.
