I shouted "Brick Frog!" when he appeared on the screen. My girlfriend continued to ignore me.

That's what the Justice League really should be, anyway.

A book about Honolulu being a stinky hellhole? I basically have to read it.

Still haven't seen enough movies from 2013 to be a good judge (had to delay Pacific Rim watching until this Wednesday, unfortunately). It's been an absolutely oustanding year for music, though, so there's that.

Remind me never to get in a fight with your uncle.

I watched Wong Kar-wai's The Grandmaster tonight. It was, of course, beautifully shot, but I was rather disappointed by the film as a whole. It seemed to lack any kind of subtlety, which may be par for the course in a martial-arts film, but is disappointing coming from Wong. I'm hoping it will improve on a second

You being you, yeah that's weird. For normal people it would be more expected.

Something something that movie doesn't feature any kickball.

Universe, you've done it again!

You hate Epcot? Why don't you tell that to Mission: Space, huh, big guy?

Luca complaining about the foul language was one of my favorite things from any season of this show.

I've only seen those two and The Place Beyond the Pines from this list, so we're in basically the same boat. I'm slightly ashamed, but Fast 6 was so much fun it was probably equivalent to seeing five other movies.

I'll put in my support for Zero Dark Thirty. Also Upstream Color and possibly Looper.

Fast and Furious 6 is right up there with Crank: High Voltage and Hard Boiled for me. Just nonstop fun and excitement.
