Based on how the entire trial went, I'm not convinced that anyone on the writing staff has ever met a lawyer. Then again, it doesn't really matter, 'cause it was still a f un episode.

The 3rd season isn't as good as the 2nd, sure. The 3rd is still excellent, had some of my favorite scenes the show has put together, lots of great work from Jere Burns and a quietly devastating ending. I think the problem is more that PFT and Aukerman have such great chemistry that it's very easy for them to dominate the episode. I don't think the guests were that weak, but that PFT and Aukerman got on such a roll that they didn't want to (or just couldn't) interrupt.
