It is an all right Bond film for me. Has that brilliant and tense fight in the train, and Connery at possibly his most charming. But yeah it is a bit boring.
I'm a massive On her Majesty's Secret Service fan anyway.

1 episode in, and it is a lot of fun. More twee than Wonderfalls, even if it is centered around a darker topic. Can see why it has been so loved.
There is new Julie Ruin!? Awesome. The other album was packed with great little songs, and from this review I'm pretty pumped for this too.
Well I roll my eyes at other stuff, but eh anyway it's no big deal. Time to listen to 'World is Flat' now :)
You're right about it being a meaningless title, but it is great to see others who love Unwound anyway. Time to listen to 'October All Over' again.
OPINIONS !!!
Yeah I remember reading someone saying it was the most emotionally affecting album they've ever listened to. That, plus that it was by a post-hardcore band, really intrigued me. After a couple of listens, I could see how they came to that conclusion. It's a really beautiful album.
'NFS: Underground 2' is a hugely fun driving game, and the drifting mode was a big part of that. Drifting losing it's popularity also led to me playing a lot less of the newer NFS games.
I shall keep a look out for it.
Thanks!
Rewatching Wonderfalls has gotten me excited to watch Pushing Daises, which I will be starting to watch soon for the first time.
They liked to pick as many people that I would barely know for this season…BUT anyways my 4 picks are:
Tina Wesson
Candice
Gervase
Brad
Hey I'm here !
The frentic life of finishing probation at work, taking a break from AV Club, and watching too much Big Brother (Australia, which has good patches and dull patches) has kept me away but I am back and ready to go.
Yeah I think that he is, in public, the abrasive overtly macho man, and it is so beautifully deconstructed in his relationships with his family and how truly frightened and panicked he can sometimes get.
Yeah there are other great TV drama's. I love each of these ones in different
ways, but I find that it is now kind of a generic TV conversation to
discuss these shows. I've heard most of the arguments and praise, and
now I want to find something different.
My high praise for Breaking Bad: Being an Australian means I get the show on Monday, and I now actually look forward to Monday's rather than resenting them. So good job show !
Everyone always talks about the ending, but there are plenty of memorable moments beforehand. When Bender sacrifices himself and jumps in to get Seymour, that is an inspiring moment.
BUT it is hilarious ! My sympathies always lay with Fry, getting annoyed by the affection and adoration that Gunter receives. And him eating banana's is kind of an 'aww monkey's will always be monkey's' moment, but really it's just pure hilarity.
And the 'happy ending' is played as a satire on life in college, at least…
Yep, 'Invisible' is a highlight of the year thus far for me.
Yeah how long did it take someone to mention 'Heartbeat' !
I adore that song.
Yep 'Is This Desire?' is her best. It is her most affecting, beautiful and rewarding album, and she still rocks out a few times on it too.
